Aim of project: Offereing information about using the diary of Anne Frank as (basis for) lesson material and offering lessosn about the diary.
Summary: The weblog is meant to stimulate schools to start initiatives around working with Anne Frank's diary in class. Besides this, it wants to offer teachers a platform to discuss their experiences with the diary in class. Moreover, it wants to stimulate teachers to share their best practises for the Anne Frank House to use in developing teaching materials. The linked website contains online lessons and quizzes about Anne Frank and her diary.

Learning about the Holocaust through art
DESCRIPTION:

Aim of project: The primary goal of this project is to create a significant, high-quality resource about the art of the Holocaust for researchers, educators, students and the wider public
Summary: This multilingual website features works by 30 artists who experienced the Holocaust first hand. The website is interactive, has easy to use search functions, comprehensive information about the artists and clear, full colour reproductions of their works. It also features a teachers' guide, student activities and study resources. Schools will find this website of practical interest for the teaching of art, history and tolerance

Learning about the Holocaust through Art is a major collaborative project between World ORT and Beit Lohamei Haghetaot (The Ghetto Fighters' House Museum and Study Center), with principle sponsorship from the Claims Conference. Beit Lohamei Haghetaot is responsible for most of the content of this website. The Museum has selected, photographed, researched and documented the art works and provided the accompanying biographies, articles and educational materials. Beit Lohamei Haghetaot has one of the foremost collections of art relating to the Holocaust and Jewish resistance, including 3000 drawings, paintings and sculptures.

Weblog for teachers : Anti-Semitism and Education

Aim of project: A weblog for teachers about anti-Semitism and prejudice in class, including teaching these subjects.
Summary: With this weblog the Anne Frank House wants to interact with teachers on a more personal level about, among other things, the anti-Semitism teaching material it developed. The feedback about the teaching material will be used for further adjustments to teachers' needs. Teachers can also exchange lesson ideas and their teachning experiences on the weblog. Moreover, they can discuss with each other how to react to prejudice and intolerant behaviour in class.
