The Department of Interethnic Relations of the Romanian Government organizes during August 9-15 the training entitled "The reflection of ethnic diversity in the Romanian press." The training will be delivered by Nicholas Nugent, journalist BBC, trainer and media and diversity consultant, who has a vast experience in the media reflection of interethnic and inter-religious from countries like Bosnia, Serbia, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Afghanistan, Somalia, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Indonesia etc. The deadline for applications is July 5, 2009. According to the organizers this training addresses the urgent need to form journalists regarding producing objective materials on events which imply an ethnic, religious or linguistic component.
