The 13th International Metropolis conference will take place from 27 to 31 October 2008 in Bonn, Germany and will focus on Mobility, Integration and Development in a Globalised World. It will be hosted by the Ministry of Intergenerational Affairs, Family, Women and Integration of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia and its partners. The conference will explore the relationships between migration, immigrant integration and development to uncover new aspects of Metropolis' traditional areas of interest, new avenues for research, and areas for policy development.
