Noticeboard

The EU's Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) intends to develop a follow-up report to the EUMC's 2003 report on "Migrant, minorities and employment: Exclusion, discrimination in 15 Member States of the European Union". This follow-up report will cover the years 2003-2007.

The FRA has published an Open Call for Tender inviting applications for the preparation of this report. The contract will be awarded for the analysis of data and information provided by the FRA in order to deliver the report.

The aim of the report is to provide the Agency's stakeholders with policy-relevant information and analysis based on reliable, objective and comparable data. It should document incidents and types of discrimination in workplaces and labour markets across the EU and highlight examples of 'good practices' in counteracting discrimination. The research needs to rely on scientific analysis, but also to develop practical output useful to policy makers. The comparative report should be 160-180 pages, including a 20-page summary.

The deadline for applications is 27th May 2008. The tender dossier and all supporting documents can be downloaded here.
