On 15 March 2006, the Intergroup on Press-Communication-Freedom organised the following event:

Media professionals put forward their priorities for a European media policy

A public hearing
On Wednesday 15th of March, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in Strasbourg - room N1.3
To acknowledge the opinion of the trade unions, and those working in production and distribution

Following up on Mark Thompson's participation in this meeting, EUMAP and the Media Program prepared an OSI contribution to the European Parliament debate on the amendment of the Television without Frontiers Directive.
