• EUMAP Statement on Education for Roma, Delivered at the OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting on Sustainable Policies for Roma and Sinti Integration, Vienna, 10-11 July 2008: Contribution by EUMAP to the OSCE meeting provides recommendations to the OSCE Member States on data collection, access to pre-school, segregation in special schools, teacher training, and the low expectations that undermine Roma children's opportunities.

Severe discrimination of Roma children in Slovakia – calls for action to the EU and the Slovak government

• Joint press conference with Amnesty International: New EUMAP monitoring report on access to education for Roma in Slovakia pre-released at Brussels press conference, together with the Amnesty International report "Still Separate, still Unequal: Violations of the Right to Education for Romani Children in Slovakia".
• Joint Statement on needed EU action to end Slovakia’s discrimination against Roma children: Amnesty International and the Open Society Institute call on the EU to put pressure on the Slovak government to end the systematic violation of the right of Roma children to education.
• Open joint letter to the Slovak government: The Open Society Institute, Amnesty International, the ERRC, the Roma Education Fund and the Milan Simecka Foundation call on the government to redress patterns of racial discrimination and human rights violations against the Roma, and the segregation of Romani children in education.

Launch and progress of the NMP 'Television across Europe' followup project

• Follow-up action on Television across Europe report in full swing: The OSI Network Media Programme (NMP) leads a followup project to the EUMAP/NMP monitoring, in which several national and transnational research activities are financed. Four of those are underway and will be completed in 2007.
• Information and relevant documents on the NMP 'Television across Europe' followup project and the June 2006 conference in Budapest where it was launched

Extra translation of the Television across Europe summary report

• The summary report was translated into Russian, in response to the relevance that the experience of the twenty countries covered in the report can have for countries beyond the monitored region.
